Streak flex thread

Not every day can be fully dedicated to studying, but it’s like a daily prayer — even small reviews matter. Doing a little each day not only shows your dedication, but more importantly, reminds you of your purpose, your path, and why you’re here. Every day you face countless hurdles and challenges that distracts you, so maintaining a daily routine helps you stay on track toward your bigger goal and prevents you from losing yourself along the way.

After achieving lv60, I still keep doing my reviews and want to finish them all one day. Now mostly I keep my JP studies in Anki though, but WK reviews became such a daily habit so I just want to continue it.

With new Dashboard we can now flex it again! I don’t know where to do it, so lets just start another thread. Get your stuff here.

Amazing! :star_struck:

My best streak while I was still using WK + burned all the items available back then.

Koichi even complimented me on my streak, hehe :durtle_love:

I still can’t seem to upload pictures in threads ヽ(;▽;)ノ, but I have 607 days total and a streak of 607 so that’s cool. I missed some data in the heatmap extension so I thought for sure I had missed a day or five. Seems like I am nothing but consistent.

Also wow, a 2000+ day streak is wild.

That’s nuts! It doesnt even look like you had “days off” (with less reviews). I am going fast pace right now and I want to be out of the scary ride lmao it’s neverending

This is mine  According to my calculations, I should reach lvl 60 in March, and after that I want to continue doing WK for 6 more months. At least that was my intention, but now that there’s this best streak thing, maybe I’ll go for 1000 days?

True. Streak is especially difficult to keep during long flights, when just due to timezone difference you take off one day and land the day after. So even if you do reviews like every 12h, your local timestamp could give you 1 day gap or something.

I knew one day WK would implement this feature, but I was afraid how their algorithms would treat such records. But apparently WK was pretty nice to us.

Don’t know if this is my most impressive streak or anything (cause I was around since Wanikani was still in beta :old_man: ), but in the last year, this was my most impressive streak so far. Last year on May 22, I got super serious about getting through Wanikani and my Japanese studies. I live in Japan working as an English teacher, and while I don’t really NEED Japanese all the time, it certainly makes life easier. I was previously using the 3rd party heat map to help keep up the motivation as well but this is actually a pretty cool new feature. (I kinda hope the sacrifices replenish over time. I’m going to visit my family in America during Christmas and I’ll probably lose at least one of sacrificial days  )

Lol wait it says it in the description of the widget and I am an idget :joy:
