This is such a motivator for me! Thanks for the great work

Was there a thread about it? I saw a thread where someone leveled up in less than 7d20h, but they said they emailed Tofugu, who said they hadn't changed anything recently.

I ran a few tests, and so far the calculations seem to be okay, but let me know if you spot anything odd.rfindley said...I think @StellaTerra updated her post with an official Tofugu response stating they had changed the pacing for items so they're all the same: /t/Leveled-a-day-early/15394/1Towe said... Looks all good to me now, though I personally gave up on aiming for the fastest possible level times a while ago⊠I need to get back on that train dangit
Thank you so much, @rfindley, looks great! Â Iâm so stoked about this change!
I have just found this and it is superb! I love the itemised list which gives details with a mouse rollover. Just brilliant.
Thank you so much for all your work. I am very grateful for the help this will give me.
Best wishes

Is the frequency chart cumulative? By this I mean does the 2500 bar consider all 2500 Kanji or just Kanji 2001-2500?

NordicRest said...Correct, though I suspect @seanblue is actually asking about the bar graph on the Progress tab. The bar graph is indeed cumulative.seanblue said... So I was just playing around a bit with the hypothetical level up times and realized that they were not accurate for the shorter levels. While the fastest possible level up time for those levels is now correctly calculated as 3d 10h, the fastest possible level up time in the hypothetical column is still assumed to be 4d 10h. Furthermore, it is impossible to enter a hypothetical level up time below 4d. Here is a screenshot to illustrate what I want to say:

I love this website. Thanks so much for taking the time to make it!

I think I've got it corrected now, though you will probably need to refresh your cache to get the hypothetical text box to accept 3d10h.

I got another idea for a potential feature if youâre interested â for the items page, Wanikani tab â what if there were a few more sorting options? Itâd be neat to sort by things like time since unlock, accuracy, etc. I thought of it because there are a few items that itâs hilarious how often i get them wrong. Â
My level-up time projection is being displayed as  62 days . How is this possible? I have been getting almost all my kanji correct and occasionally get my vocab wrong but they donât count in levelling up, do they?Oh ,And I review at least once or twice a day , clearing them completely.Â
Â
I have heard that it takes at least 9 days to level up when getting all the reviews correct. Then is my projection  this long because of the number of reviews I do per day ? I mean this is just level 3 and still 62 daysâŠÂ is this normal ?Â

The estimation is based on your average level up time. In order to level up 2 times, it took you about 4 months, so an average of approximately 62 days per level...

I guess you registered in August but waited a while before starting to use WaniKani, which is why you get a false estimation. You can click at the bottom of the stat page on levels that you want to exclude from the average calculation, it should help ;)

Yes , I had registered in August and then left after one day of usage :P Then I re-started(without resetting as I hadn't done much) in mid-november and this is my progress so far.
Thanks a lot !
Do you have any plans to add a sub-page to the Items page which combines the data of all the other sub-pages? I think a sortable table which has the Kanji, WaniKani Level, JLTP, Joyo, and Frequency would be really helpful for seeing the usefulness of an individual Kanji in one place. Ideally, this table would also show all of the Kanji that you have at the bottom of the Charts sub-pages that arenât currently included in WaniKani.
