They put a “lyrics” label on each song so while I was choosing what to play I noticed it right away.

Huh, I’m not seeing the lyric label on any even though the song I tested had them

I’m not seeing any “LYRICS” labels either (on PC), but I don’t really mind since every single song I’ve tested has lyrics (even obscure ones - only one I tested that didn’t have lyrics was an instrumental)

I had to download Spotify again before the mic icon on the bottom right popped up

@IzCreature @Lahoje I looked more carefully and the label doesn’t show if I’m in my Liked Songs, but it shows when I’m in a playlist.
But yeah it’s just a little unimportant detail, as long as there are lyrics!

Or is this a premium feature? Or maybe EU still doesn’t have em. I remember using it on my phone when I still paid for Spotify, though. Or was it Apple Music?

Apple Music has had lyrics for a while now. At least a year maybe.

For other parts of the world Spotify Premium has had lyrics for a good while now already (many months, maybe a year? I can’t really tell).
It’s indeed a pretty cool feature!! I use it a lot to practice reading!

The feature is available for all users and devices, regardless of subscription. Or so says their release announcement. I can’t say for EU, though.
I’ve been using lyrics for months, but I know that for some reason Brazilian apps get things faster (see: fleets, spaces on twitter) so maybe we just had it first.

Got them in Europe, but had to check the song in op.
Alstroemeria tracks doesn’t have lyrics 
edit: there is on some tracks, hyped!
