How does that work? I am so confused lol
In the most levels, you have to compete radicals to unlock the second set of Kanji. But there are so few radicals in higher levels that you can have enough Kanji in the first batch to not have to do the second batch in order to unlock the next level
While I agree with the blazingly fast part, low 340’s can only be attained by consistently hitting 6d20h levels, which probably requires cyborg implants.
You can easily get the total time by taking the average level up time in the image (6d0h) and multiplying by 59 (as the 60th level traditionally isn’t counted in these posts). So 354 days (note that the 6d0h is rounded to the whole hour, so it’s a quick but not necessarily 100% accurate calculation).
That’s well within the year though - super fast. Congrats to OP on reaching 60!
whenever you guru a kanji, it usually always come with some number of vocab so if you’re guru-ing kanji faster, you’re getting more and more vocab, make sense?
I’m currently on track for 343 days for my pace through the first 17 levels. Am I a cyborg?
I’ve slowed down so much that I wonder if I’ll ever make Level 60 to even be able to attempt a speed run. lol
Great work, Congrats!
This gives me hope because I’m running at about the same pace (7 days per lesson - on level 33) and had noticed that I’d slowed down significantly from the first few lessons. Good to see that the final 10 or so get back to a faster pace since I guess the amount of new info/reviews have dropped off significantly. Should be there before the year is out!
yes. you are.
I’m fairly new to WaniKani (Level 4 after around 20 days, I think). How does one produce such a cool bar chart like yours? Thanks!
by using wkstats. you will need to supply your own WaniKani API token, which you can find/generate at your Personal Access Tokens page.
oh and also welcome to WaniKani and our lovely forums!
I’m just admiring that you cleared over half of this program and hadn’t made a single post yet.
Thanks, tkyk. That points me in the right direction! Makes more sense now regarding\ all those mysterious posts about API tokens, etc.! Cheers!
holy crap dude
すごい!Congrats!!! Any tips on how to finish all the lessons?
Congratulations
Congrats! What’s the total amount of time you took, out of curiosity? (I know that managing around 6-7 days per level for every single level is rare, so well done!)
Congratulations!!
the best tip I can really give is just to stay consistent, it might be a good idea to create a routine and stick with it. WaniKani is definitely not easy but the payoff is great!
it definitely takes quite a while haha, from some quick calculations, I’ve reviewed approx 145,000 individual items so say it takes around 5 seconds for each one which comes out to about 200 hours spent reviewing on WaniKani
