私のリビングは広くて、とても明るいです。でも、キッチンはけっこう狭いですね。
My living room is spacious and very well lit. But the kitchen is quite cramped, isn’t it?
Haha that’s funny, small world!
How do they even count, I don’t feel like I corrected many entries today? The number of sentences maybe?
Yeah, it’s sentences as recognised by LangCorrect. I notice some people doing “I went to the beach .And then I said hello” and Lang Correct doesn’t recognise that as two seperate sentences and it’s not clear if they’ve just got their punctuation wrong of if they’re gaming the system for a minimum ratio
Oh one thing that’s a little unclear as well in how your ratio is calculated is that it’s “sentences corrected by you” divided by “sentences in your posts”. A lot of the docs indicate it’s based on how many corrections you’ve received, but that was changed a few months ago. (And left me confused as to how 700 / 1400 was apparently 1.1)
Yeah I gave up on trying to understand how the ratio is calculated. Didn’t even noticed it had changed. I basically just correct one random entry per day + those of the people I follow (my correctors, but they don’t post everyday) and then post my own entry and that’s it.
I’ve gotten to the point where every few days I’m bulk correcting everything to keep my ratio up to continue to be able to post lol.
Well, two people exempted, one because their posts are usually about right wing American talking points and one because they seem to be going for such a formal style that it seems unnatural. I’m not sure if they’re doing it intentionally or because they think it’s like an English equivalent of sonkeigo but myself and others have pointed out that they don’t need to speak so formally on every subject but they keep doing it, so I assume it’s intentional. So I gave up correcting them lol.
Oh yeah that’s weird.. Somehow I have the feeling that being a corrector of another language than English is a more pleasant experience. Can you correct Irish instead maybe?
And hi back!
