[solved] にゆう vs にゅう

Always the same problem: Screenshot by Lightshot
am I doing something wrong?

にゅう and にゆう are not the same. Check out the FAQ and Guide.

As Borx just said, there is a small ゆ which is functioning as part of a nyu sound which is slightly different than a niyu sound and so is written differently. To input the whole thing correctly, just type nyuu in this case. But yeah, to learn how to deal with this type of thing in general, the faq and guide are a good place to go. There are also this small つ and a ー that show up as well and other things of that nature. I remember how confused I was at first too. Good luck.
