Yeah I saw there’s a popular song for it the story is simple but beautifully written, it’s about a girl in chains wandering the forest and meeting an owl-like creature and it’s about their (platonic) relationship and some challenges that happen. It’s straigtforward but well written. It has a translation on Bakatsuki as well.
I’m looking forward to getting around to Gokurakugai - I’ve read the first three in English but I’m far too impatient to wait until the end of the year for volume 4 to come out. Time to make use of the advantage of being able to (hopefully :P) read the original.
I’m really enjoying it! I originally watched the anime and then picked up the manga in Japanese, starting with the spin-off series Episode Nagi. The first volume of that was one of the first manga I read in Japanese and it was tough but overall, I find Bluelock generally on the easier side. There’s a lot of repetitive vocab and aside from some scenes (mainly the ones with Ego and the football association), it’s very easy to follow along with the story via the visuals (which are amazing! Honestly this art in this series is one of my favourites)
My latest CDJapan order (at least books-wise; I also got the 月刊少女野崎くん drama CD and 新しい上司はど天然 anime vol 3-6, and 6 came with a box for all of them, which means they don’t fit the way I had them on my shelf anymore, but oh well)
