Spyxfamily loving that. Hopefully when I get to Japan I can pile up some manga to practice reading and this will be one of them

Magazines also count in this thread? There is a Japanese goods pop up shop at my station and I got these last week. The one about breads was published in 2017 and all about bakery shops and different kinds of bread. Japanese really like their bread !

Yes! I love magazines/“mooks” about food. The way everything is so organized and neatly laid out, with rankings and stats and cross-sections… dreamy.

I know nothing about gothic lolita and I can’t sew but I can’t take my eyes off this photo; these look fascinating!

Cleaning was worth it because it cleared up much needed space that my husband decided it was a little empty and needed bookcases! So now I have a place to put my growing collection😅 (plus my daughter’s as well)

I put 獣の奏者 on top for the picture and the other three are ones I’m currently reading, so they’re just there for easy access.

Came across this and had to buy them. Two of my favourite writers 夏目漱石and 佐野洋子 :hearts: :hearts: Am also glad it has furigana and notes as this version aims at students.

Library somewhat near me has a used book store where they take book donations, resell them for $1-3 each, and use the profits to help support the local library systems.
Found a few Japanese books, including this one. I wish I was able to read it. Sounds like it would be an interesting read. Maybe someday…

Guess who finally got a new bookshelf!

These are all UNREAD BOOKS, like literally what is wrong with me :smiling_face_with_tear:
Not gonna lie, I’m a little sad that it’s almost full already - I thought it would give me more “room to grow” than this, but I clearly underestimated how many books I had hanging around in random places :joy: At least the stacks that were sitting on top of my previous bookshelf have a home now~

Yoo, half & half.

Rookie numbers.

Nice!!

When you gonna get on that grind? :eyes: How long do you think it would take you to read all of them if you decided to read them all cover to cover?
