Should WaniKani disqualify a Kanji sound written instead of a vocabulary sound (and vice versa) on single kanjis (one kanji alone)?

I think it should definitely just shake, like it does now, not be marked as an error. It’s not an issue of knowing the material in that case, but rather of just skimming over the question too quickly.

I guess you can look at it this way. Personally, after I realised the colours are different I never confused vocab and kanji.

This is also true! Maybe, then, it should ideally be a toggleable setting, as people have different ideal ways of using the platform— personally, if I’m not able to get the correct answer within 0.3 seconds and basically no consideration, I consider it as me not knowing it well enough yet lol
