Short Level 60 Post

Took me 3 years, but I made it!

I still can’t read everything but reading is definitely less daunting when you get the gist of most kanji. They feel like familiar friends.

I’m a student from PH so WK isn’t really cheap for me. So I got it as a Christmas present for a few years. But even with that and it’s faults, it’s personally worked for me. Plus it’s really motivating—but of course big life stuff got in the way and I had to adjust to those and slow my pace, hence the three years.

I wish you all well on your Japanese learning journey, and hope you keep going, even if you think you are so slow.

Im going to go read lots of stuff. Thank you and see ya~

As of now, the captions in videos of Japanese youtubers . I find that the video makes it harder for me to get distracted? Plus I get more context clues.

That makes sense! Whatever gets you reading and can hold your interest is most important, I think!

If you don’t mind my asking, anything in particular you like to watch? I’m always looking to branch out from what I’m doing!

Recently, Sakura in Dordogne and MashAyaVideo’s videos~ They’re Japanese living in France, so there’s a lot of describing.
