Basically now I’ve gotten curious what words and phrases is used for math in Japanese. How did that happen?

I have a list of words somewhere in this topic. I even made a Kitsun deck for the geometry words, though I haven’t bothered making the arithmetic one yet.

Basic arithmetic terms in Japanese

I’m currently trying to create a list of basic math terms in Japanese with the intention of eventually making a deck in Kitsun for them. Right now I’m trying to decide which terms to include for the four arithmetic operations. There are three sets of words. First set: 足し算 引き算 掛け算 割り算 Second set: 加法 減法 乗法 除法 Third set: 加算 減算 乗算 除算 I’m definitely going to include the first set, since that’s the simplest version. I also want to include one, but not both, of the other two sets so some more…
