It’s really fun, every week there is a decision point that all members vote on in a poll, and that determines how we proceed through the book. The clubs generally take 3-4 months.
A handful of us are reviving the 夏目友人帳 Book Club, and the off-shoot thread can be found here! We just started chapter 1, and we’ll be reading one chapter every two weeks with the intention of continuing on to later volumes. Come join us!
No rush, it doesn’t start for a few weeks yet. I think the question only came up if someone was confirmed to lead it, and I was pretty sure you’re on it!
I’m sorry if there’s an obvious answer to my question, but I couldn’t find it.
I’m thinking of joining one of the reading threads for the first time and wondered where I could see when the ヤマのススメ reading starts? Since you said it won’t start for a few weeks, I thought there might be a set date, or do I just have to keep an eye out on this thread, for the date to be announced later?
The way you figure it out is in the first post of this thread it shows the end of the current club (30 August). There is normally a 1 week break and then the next club starts. Set this thread to watching, and you will get notified when that thread is live. See you there
It’s good that you made a thread for the next manga, but this thread still says “now voting” and the first post doesn’t have any of the new manga’s information. Also, the master list isn’t updated yet.
