# Search for words by reading?

I’m curious if there is a way to search Jisho or other online dictionaries by kanji reading? For example, I want to know if there are other words besides 無事 in which 無 uses the ぶ reading.

Search for the kanji and click on the reading you want.

One caveat, I can’t seem to get that search to show results for words that don’t have the kanji in the first position, even if I put asterisks around it.

Not sure if there’s a way around it, or what, but just keep that in mind.

EDIT: Never mind, you have to put asterisks around the kanji AND the reading each individually in the search bar.
