Hello, i see there an old post on 2017 by “jprspereira” for this but no answer.

So maybe now someone did or find something ?

If there’s a way to search all words by genre.
Exemple: all the intrasitive verb i learn or exists in wanikani.

If you have some programming skills you could leverage the API to do that fairly easily but beyond that I don’t know of any tool/script offering this feature.

Item Inspector can do it if you search by part of speech. You may use the part of speech optional filter (you need to configure is in the optional filter settings). Or alternatively you may use the advanced filter and select your part of speech.

Step be step procedure.

  • For item you have learned select the All Learned item table in the table dropdown
  • For all items that exist select the All Wanikani Items table in the table dropdown
  • In the temporary filter dropdown select the Advanced Search filter
  • In the Search Items box type in the part of speech you want.

Tip: if you mouse hover the Search Item title the valid part of speech will display in a pop up.
