Same mnemonic for two different readings

One thing I just noticed was that both the vocabulary 末 and the kanji 数 use “sue” as a reading mnemonic (the former as the name Sue, and the latter as the verb), but 末 is read すえ, and 数 is read すう. This can be quite confusing.

That’s true . If you send a mail to hello@wanikani.com and report this issue, I’m sure they’ll figure a way to change this. The staff are very responsive to user feedback, but unfortunately, if you don’t email them they won’t know about it since they don’t really monitor the forums.

Nice! I will do some trolling then…

They will of course take a look at your posts if you get flagged though :yum:

You mean you haven’t been doing so already? :joy::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

There’re quite a few of these. The name Sue and the verb sue are different words though, if that helps.

One that bugs me is later on you have “izumeeeee (いずみ), Mario!” and “It’s a-me-ya! (Mario!)” (みや) to contend with.
