Readings and radicals

so first feedback on the readings aspect. I feel it would be better for the “that’s not what we are looking for here” message or something similar to show up for things like forgetting to rendoku or using a different version of the reading.
for example instead of just saying ひとひと is wrong and moving on, do the grey box thing and say that there’s a rendoku there.
or for example i personally have issues with things with the moon kanji switching from がつ to げつ depending on the preceding kanji and i don’t feel like i should lose progress on it and it annoys me that i do.

on radicals i just have a question, why do you learn the city radical 3 levels after you learn the actual kanji and vocab for city, and you learn the towel radical at level 3 but you don’t learn the kanji until 47…make it make sense

This cannot be added to the website because that would go against the overall philosophy of testing you. The box that pops up is not supposed to give you answer. If it gave you the answer and allowed you to enter it, you wouldn’t learn the word.

Similar with the がつ and げつ, you cannot just say something “close enough” because that may be different word. You don’t just say “fire” and mean “hire”. Just accept that some words will take longer to remember because of some exception.

With the radicals and kanji levels, notice that radicals are defined on level where they are used for the first time. Than they are used to form a kanji. Later, a kanji can be used as a radical in much later level. And than used in a more complex kanji, and so on. This way you slowly get enough symbols to define the more difficult kanji, which would normally be composed of around 10 simple radicals.
