Today was a pretty successful reading day, largely because I’m procrastinating an internship application I’m supposed to be filling out.

Read 2 short stories from the collection 沈みかけの船より、愛をこめて
-パン、買ってこい, 15 pages: A surprisingly wholesome story about a boy being forced to buy bread for the school delinquent. Made me want to eat bread.
-電話が逃げていく, 4 pages: A very short short story that was written for an anthology of stories with twist endings. I did manage to guess the twist as soon as the protagonist started complaining about her father in law but it was still entertaining. -
Read the first two chapters of 変な家 which I started today because I wanted something easy to read on the side. 127 pages
