Daily reading done 
Ended up reading a few more chapters yesterday also! I couldn’t put it down tbh. I’ll still leave my goal as one chapter per day because I’ll be back at work for the 2nd half of July. But for now enjoying all the extra reading time and I’ll consider it a bonus 
That’s fantastic and so nice to hear! It’s so encouraging to re-read books from a while back to see your progress. I want to do that with Yotsubato!① soon

As expected, 櫛田’s heel turn scene was fantastic, better than the anime; i’m really excited to read this series.

I finished reading my last manga magazine. It should be good if I read some books right now, but I don’t feel like reading any of the books in my collection.
I suprisingly had this exact word on a badge, still remembered the meaning even though not clear on the 業 kanji reading

5th to 8th july - Read bunpro passages and tried NHK articles again…I could read it but my understanding was off by 10-20%. It was like I could understand it was talking about heat but didn’t understand the proper tense
I have moved back to our family home for sometime and have been busy for the past couple days so wasn’t able to update…and the wifi was also an issue 
9th july -
well meow just read a graded reader to keep my brain working…and meow loved it !

Also read with a less common reading 業 which can as well be counted as a word on its own (karma).
Otherwise, It’s more commonly read ぎょう.

I only knew the common reading before but now…meow is going nihongo master with additional reading

These pages are a lot more dense hopefully because the main character is reading out an essay she’s written and it doesn’t stay like this. This scan is pretty low resolution at times, at this point I’m recognising kanji like 機 and 優 just because of how annoying they were to try and make out to rewrite into a dictionary. Also I’m not reading at 11pm for once ahaha

The last 15 pages of ふらいんぐうぃっち volume 1 read! 
Feels good to have my first volume of a manga in Japanese under my belt too I definitely have a long long way to go with my grammar study but I feel like I got a good sense of what was being said for the most part, and I think It’ll be cool to revisit one day!

I read 4 pages of 星のカービィand barely understood it but at least I knew like 40%! I also read the first 3 volumes of Fist of the North Star but not in Japanese, and started a new Anki deck that’s really helpful, so far going strong

Next chapter of Narnia, this is the chapter with the beaver couple and it’s very domestic, they have a little dam house but it’s frozen over with the eternal winter. It takes the kids a minute to realize the beavers are there but then they go to their house and the girls are helping cook and clean. There’s fish and potatoes and other vittles. Edmund looks in the distance and sees one of the hills the witch pointed out. He thinks about what the witch told him about becoming a prince. He also thinks about the Turkish Delights again. Edmund no! Think of your family.
The next chapter is titled traitor. Wonder who that could be?
