I take back what I said about this series is easier than lvl 32. There are more old/literary words than I first thought. The author keeps citing Shakespeare/Hamlet and other old works. So I doubt it’s because the series was written 20 years ago. The Saikawa & Moe series was written even further back and has plenty of modern katakana tech/fashion words instead.

Just to name a few lookups: 希求、金蔓、暗唱、嗜好品、憂さ晴らし、緞帳、願い下げ、贋物、箴言、 独房。

Edit: Wait, the grade has changed to lvl 31? What’s going on 😆 My gradings can’t have had _that_ big of an effect on the difficulty.
Edit2: Should I change my gradings? 🤔
