I played 英雄伝説 碧の軌跡 and finished the hospital part. The new doctor is also strange like I predicted but probably not going all crazy. If I still want to finish the game this year I must pick up the pace but I don’t think it still possible to be done with it this year.

been much more productive today than i was at the end of last week. new manga is schlocky and kind of bad but it has its own charm. new bakumatsu book is a humorous retelling of the period, we’ll see how this one goes.

Overall a pretty good week. I’m not sure I’m catching up but I’m not falling further behind. Probably helped by not joining any more book clubs, and by the fact that some of mine have finished so there’s less pressure on.

JLPT in 3 weeks. I’ll keep reading though as I think it’ll help. The mock exam yesterday went better than I expected.

It’s a bit frustrating because I was really locked in reading everyday, but at least I keep on doing japanese even in such bad circumstances with Wanikani and Genki lol.

November 16th!
A chapter of 夜の名前を呼んで 3. Also read about 6 pages of 探偵犬クリス 柴犬探偵、盗まれた宝石を追う!.
Hoping to finish this before the end of the year - I’ve been prioritising book club reads so I took a big pause in reading it, so it feels like its dragged on for ages.

November 17th!
Started 葬送のフリーレン 8, and read 2 chapters.
Also ~3 pages of 探偵犬クリス 柴犬探偵、盗まれた宝石を追う!.
