Welp, my work contract is almost over, so I thought I’d try this challenge again while I have time during the holidays. I’ll try to take it a little easier this time around.
Goals: Finish at least one volume of Koe no Katachi, finish that intermediate graded reader, finish volumes 3-5 of Yotsuba.
two chapters of 3月のライオン which proved me right - there are no ‘easy’ volumes of this manga asdfghjkl gonna go read some suspect x and come back to edit that later. edit: done! made it to the end of chapter 1
I read one graded reader everyday They’re getting longer and more interesting! I love the mix of fiction and non-fiction. And I finished all the free level 1 books! Which means I’m onto level 2. The first one I read was reassuring because I basically understood it all, but the one I read today had some words I didn’t know, even with the images there. The grammar was easy though, I just need to build my vocab! I wonder if those who read these graded readers look up the words they didn’t know after reading it? Or is that not encouraged?
Everlasting Flowers today. I really enjoy reading VNs now! As I level up in Wanikani, it slowly gets easier. Not easy, not at all, but easier for sure!
A mixed chapter today, actually a lot of relatively difficult vocab, but also a bunch of textless-panels and エルフ語 which you’re not actually meant to understand yet, so it went pretty quick despite that.
Otherwise I’ve been a little distracted by streams about certain ongoing events.
two chapters of 3月のライオン and finished vol 6! i think i’m about two thirds of the way through the chapters that made it into the anime? so a few volumes left to go before i hit new ground.
