The word 蔦(つた) = ivy has appeared so many times, surely it will stick soon, right?

Lots of interesting words.

  • 泥濘(ぬかる)む = to be muddy (latter kanji is new to me :eyes: )
  • 侍(はべ)る = to serve
  • 蔓延(はびこ)る = to become overgrown
  • 霰(あられ) = hail esp. <5 mm. (Similar in shape to some other weather kanji I’ve been looking at recently: 霧(きり)、靄(もや)、霞(かすみ))
  • 翅(はね) = (insect) wing. (Didn’t know that had its own kanji)
  • 浪曲(ろうきょく) = recitation of stories accompanied by shamisen (@Zakarius, it you! :smiley: )
