Been having a lot of big breakthroughs reading 夜は短し歩けよ乙女. Since the book changes perspectives, I have had to really focus on not just what is being said, but who it’s being said by. For example, First we get the perspective of 乙女さん doing the 友達パンチ to 東堂さん on the 三階電車. Then we get 東堂さん’s perspective in the next chunk because he uses 己 and uses some older sounding Japanese conjugation

Got to Chapter 2 of 夜は短し歩けよ乙女. I think I was too excited to reach the end of the chapter so I am gonna reread that tonight, but I made it through the first chapter! I would like to maybe try and get through the remaining chapters a little faster pace, but not to where I am speed running through the book. I am still enjoying my time with it, so I would like to continue to do so.

I finished the 4th story! It was quite nice! Ginger had a pretty fun personality to read about, heh, heh. And it was fun to see the cats from earlier stories interacting with everyone. The next story is going to be about the fourth witch in the group of four friends the stories have mostly focused on. So I guess the next two stories after that are going to be about completely new characters.

And interestingly enough, it took me half the time it took yesterday to read the same number of pages! But that’s probably not about my ability, and more just about my luck with the proportion of new vocabulary and confusing grammar.
