Words of the day
  • つかつか. = (on-mim) walking briskly
  • ついつい. = (on-mim) without thinking
  • ためつすがめつ. = looking carefully. The Kanji form is 矯ためつ眇すがめつ.
  • 一矢いっしを報むくいる = to return a blow. Shoot only to be shot back.
  • 肩かたを怒いからせる = to square (puff up) one’s shoulders. Uses the reading of 怒いかり (not 怒おこる).
  • 真まに受うける = to take seriously
  • 頭かぶりを振ふる = to shake one’s head in denial. no-no.
  • 釣つり合あう = to be in balance; to go well together
  • 取とり合あう = a meaning is to scramble for, that is 拮抗きっこう.
  • 取とっ掛かかり = clue. Also 取とり掛かかり.
  • むっつりすけべ. = lecher with quiet exterior. First part is むっつり (= taciturn). Second part is :smirk:, but never known that someone writes 助平すけべ.
  • メンテ. = maintenance
  • 顎関節症がくかんせつしょう = TMJ (joint) disorder (arthrosis)
  • 史上初しじょうはつ = the first in history. The last Kanji’s reading is confirmed in 人類史上初じんるいしじょうはつ. (Though maybe some grammar?)
  • 寸胴ずんどう = cylinder; having no waist
