It’s funny about where to place の in Furigana. Randomly fixed to each Kanji, rather than distributed.

And I wouldn’t be able to read without Furigana, and looking up has time and attention costs.

Words of the day
  • むくり(.) = (on-mim) suddenly waking (springing) up
  • パントマイム(.) = mime; pantomime
  • 粛々(しゅくしゅく) = quietly; solemnly. Maybe 蕭々(しょうしょう) is sadder.
  • 悔(く)いる = to regret. 悔(く)やむ with morals. Also 悔(く)い.
  • 辺境(へんきょう) = remote region. Probably due to being at 境(さかい).
  • 眠気覚(ねむけざ)まし = keeping oneself awake :coffee: :tea:
  • 持(も)ち越(こ)し = carry over
  • 格安(かくやす) = very cheap
  • 大台(おおだい) = major mark
  • 平生(へいぜい) = ordinary; usual
