Words of the day
  • げに = really; very. Somewhat similar to 現げんに, 誠まことに and 実じつに, but old style.
  • 最中さなか = in the midst of. Also, 最中さいちゅう. I wonder about 最中もなか, but this one isn’t common. (There are 最早もはや and 最寄もより, though.)
  • 晴はれて = officially
  • 齢よわい = at the age of; age
  • 老衰ろうすい = senility
  • 血ちみどろ = gory; bloody / desperate
  • 如意棒にょいぼう = a rod that goes by one’s wishes. The one that 孫悟空そんごくう uses.
  • 降誕こうたん = nativity. Well, alternate way to 降臨こうりん.
  • ちりあくた. = worthless thing; trash. Also just あくた. Also written 塵芥ちりあくた which can be read 塵芥じんかい (= waste; refuse; trash).
  • 悠々自適ゆうゆうじてき = living comfortably and free from worldly cares
