HI all 
I am curious if anyone has the exact meaning for 一体 or “The Heck” lol
This one has gotten me quite confused each time it pops up.

That basically it. It’s often followed by a question word to make an intensifier.
For example:
どこ = where? > 一体どこ = where on Earth?
なに = what? > 一体なに = what the heck?

If you look it up in a monolingual dictionary you’ll see
疑問を強める気持ちを表す。
Expresses a feeling of strengthening a question.
And so WaniKani chose something that does the same thing in English. Others are also possible.
