Question about ambiguous readings on floflo.moe

I am seeing many ambiguous readings on floflo.moe like this

For most of these the word is in hiragana and reading is Kanji + HIragana. How is a word written in Hiragana ambiguous in it’s reading? I mean Hiragana is not ambiguous as per my understanding. Kanji has multiple reading. How does floflo.moe handle the reading in this case while doing the reviews?

Isn’t the ambiguous part the meaning?
I think that means it has several meanings, and they don’t really know which one the book’s using.
