Late to the party but…
I think I went rather overboard with the writing assignment and spent a ton of time perusing Wikipedia and various dictionaries and came up with this, which I hope is understandable despite the errors:

私が尊敬する人はアランテューリンです。計算機科学の父と世界大戦２の偉人でした。
テューリンは１９１２年にロンドンに生まれ、子どもの時から頭がよかった。３週間自分を読むのを教えたそうです。１９３１年にケムブリジ大学に入学して、有名な数学者のハーディーで勉強しました。１９３６年に、コンピューターがまだ発明されていないのに、「計算可能数について」という論文で大切な数学の問題の一つを解いて、現代に「テューリンマシーン」と言われる計算の簡単な模型を発明しました。テューリンによると、紙と鉛筆とゴムがある真面目な人はコンピューターと似ているらしいです。
そして、世界大戦２で「ブレチュリーパーク」という秘密な場所でドイツの暗証のメッセージを複合するのを手伝いました。
しかし、テューリンはゲイだって、その時ゲイなのがイギリスで違法だったので１９５２年に公訴されました。罰がエストロゲンを取らなければいかないのだって、たいへんひどくて、テューリンは１９５４年に自決しました。イギリスの政府は２００９年まで謝っていませんでした。
現代にテューリンは数学と計算機科学と世界平和の貢献のお陰で尊敬されます。１９６６年から計算機科学の最高な賞は「テューリン賞」です。
I tried handing it over to ChatGPT and I think I broke it because despite asking for corrections in English, it started talking to me in Japanese midway lol. Anyway, some of its corrections were reasonable (such as actual spellings of names, should be チューリング apparently), but others just rewrote the sentences using rather advanced grammar or expressions which at this stage isn’t that helpful. Reprompting it and specifying my level gave some (probably) more useful advice.
