No toes stepped on at all. We always look forward to welcoming new members to our community of Japanese language learners. Feel free to ask any questions you have. Even if we can sometimes be a little grumpy, we always look forward to helping others along the way.
By the way, if you have vocabulary that you would like to study not provided on WaniKani, there is an Anki template available that attempts to emulate the WaniKani experience you may be interested in.
