You’re right… 17 days is much too fast…
Good news is, we’re set to reach level 60 by the end of the century. Unless WaniKani adds more kanji.
Edit: As for the thread, level 7 is where I sped a bit. I tried to again with level 8, but life slowed me down. I feel like I’m still recovering from going too fast, but then again maybe one-month-per-level is just my normal pace.
I feel like I’m missing something… or maybe I’m just average…
D’oh.
…I’ll get to it eventually.
Regardless of the day counts, it looks like a lot of people go through these catch-up levels as well.
I wonder if I should be striving for a higher, consistent average instead of the 3 fast/1 slow pattern. The slow level was a bit discouraging, so I’m easing my way back into a better pattern again.
You see what happens @gflow? This is what happens when you go too fast on WaniKani
Obviously you’re not a golfer
I’m glad to see that, despite the great cultural references elimination, the Dude still abides.
Am I too late for the impromptu slow people’s club meeting?
But you know what the best thing is? Those ~40 days at the end? I’ve been reviewing almost every day. I still probably average 200-300 reviews a day. For a while the trouble was a lot of piled up lessons and now the problem are leeches. Well, and the fact that I’ve gotten lazier/less enthusiastic/whatever with my reviews.
