Yeah, not so many dead bodies around them in the original…
Enjoyable chapters so far this volume. Enjoyed the little flashback window showing some of ojisan’s fellow escapees. Not sure what to make of the little bunny page at the end of the chapter!

> I was thinking the same, I think some of the memory bubbles could be a bit misleading and we I think we don’t yet know what became of the old man’s friends. That was a crazy end to the chapter, like she jumped into the movie Shrek or something. Nearly the end of the week, so I couldn’t resist jumping ahead and reading next week’s chapter too…

> Very interesting chapter. I wonder what the point of the idyllic setting is? I thought it was for the kids to enjoy themselves, since stressed out kids don’t taste as good, but that went out the window when the hunt aspect was introduced. Maybe it’s so the hunters can roleplay like they’re hunting in a human village. That would be messed up.

> This Goldy Pond arc is fun. I like seeing Emma in these situations where she’s plotting, and planning, and showing her intelligence, and caring about saving everyone. The demons are also really cool - I like the guy who had the axe thrown at him, and I really like the main guy in the hat.
