Private messages have been disabled for quite a while due to an incident.
Thanks for the quick note Didnāt have a need for it in the past, hence why I probably didnāt notice.
ādue to an incidentā?
donāt you have cops in America?
I donāt your get point. Are PMs really so valuable that itās worth having incidents happen just because itās possible to address it after the fact with law enforcement?
The stripper kind or the wee woo wee woo kind?
The YMCA kind.
How do you think, should this thread be closed?
- Yes, because itās misleading.

Theyāre worth having for the same reason fireworks are worth having, despite the fact that every 4th of July some careless kid manages to blow up his hand.
i donāt know what happened, but it must have been somehing huge, if they shut down PMs for it.
Probably, but what huge thing can reasonably be done by PM other than being a dick and å°»ē©“ā¦
iām at a loss bro. PMs could be used to organize things like book readings on voice chat - or to send kiddy porn. though then, it would surely a case for law enforcement.
you do have that in the usa, donāt you.
A 16 years old girl became friends in PM with a sexual predator that almost got her to visit him. She got stopped from doing so at the last minute by her parents somehow.
Thatās a story that could have happened everywhere on the internet, really, and is really the result of a lack of adult supervision and extreme naivety on the girlās part ; of course, kids will be kids, but I maintain the decision to remove PMs entirely is as pointless as it is inappropriate.
