Hi folks, Really enjoying learning with WaniKani. I hit Level 2 a couple of days ago and since then I haven’t seen much of the Level 1 stuff. I understand that’s kinda the point, but it would be nice to test myself and refresh the earlier ones. Is there a way to ‘free practice’ everything unlocked so far? ---

There are scripts other users have made that let you study any content that you’ve already learned. There is also the Self-Study feature on the home page I believe? I would say though, that there is no need to study the level 1 content over and over because the SRS system (spaced repetition system) is designed to make sure you learn it properly. So that’s why it pops up over and over again at different intervals to ensure that it stays in your memory. And if you so happen to get one wrong, it will pop up more often and for longer. I try not to study my previous levels too much so as to not affect the SRS system. I know you might feel a little short on content right now. But it’s going to pile up very quickly over the next few levels. > [@\[Userscript\] Self-Study Quiz](https://community.wanikani.com/t/userscript-self-study-quiz/13191): > > WaniKani Self-Study Quiz A new version of the Wanikani Self-Study Quiz has arrived! warning This is a third-party script/app and is not created by the WaniKani team. You’ll definitely see them again, until you burn them. Full explanation, from [https://knowledge.wanikani.com/](https://knowledge.wanikani.com/) > Once you finish the Lesson for an item it becomes Apprentice 1. There is a 4 hour wait until that item appears in your Reviews. If you get that Review correct, the item moves up to Apprentice 2, and your wait is now 8 hours. > > Apprentice 1 → **4 hours** → Apprentice 2 > Apprentice 2 → **8 hours** → Apprentice 3 > Apprentice 3 → **1 day** → Apprentice 4 > Apprentice 4 → **2 days** → Guru 1 > Guru 1 → **1 week** → Guru 2 > Guru 2 → **2 weeks** → Master > Master → **1 month** → Enlightened > Enlightened → **4 months** → Burned > > For **Level 1 & 2** the SRS timings are accelerated for the Apprentice stage. > > Apprentice 1 → **2 hours** → Apprentice 2 > Apprentice 2 → **4 hours** → Apprentice 3 > Apprentice 3 → **8 hours** → Apprentice 4 > Apprentice 4 → **1 day** → Guru 1 ---
