In the lesson information for the vocabulary “Comedian” the first example sentence is:
その芸人は、まるでねむれる森の美女のようにねうむっています。
That comedian is sleeping like sleeping beauty.
I believe the verb at the end of the sentence should be written ねむっています. (without the extra う), unless I am missing something. I checked jisho.org but couldn’t find anything stating that ねうむる is a variant of ねむる…
Yeah that looks like a typo to me, I’d recommend sending them an email at hello@wanikani.com about it, they’re usuallly able to respond and fix things faster that way good catch!
The artificial island near Osaka is not 舞州 but 舞洲. Also, its reading is not まえしま but rather まいしま. The two kanji 舞洲 is even the first suggestion from my IME when I type 「まいしま」.
大阪市は、舞州にすごくユニークな市営のゴミ焼却炉を建設しました。
Osaka City built a very unique, city run incineration plant in Maeshima.
