First of all thanks for all your work. I’m writing today because I was wondering if you can kill all my current reviews ? I have 726 reviews to do and I cannot keep it up. I tried to do them but it is impossible to go back to 0.
If you have to kill the learnings associated, please do so. I just want to go back to 0 in order to be able to do some kanjis every day.
There is no functionality to reset all your reviews. However, there’s an option in Settings → Danger Zone to reset you level to a lower level, e.g. 18. This will remove all reviews from level you are choosing and above. You’ll still have to do the reviews for the lower levels though. And of course you’ll have to redo the lessons from the new level and higher.
Before doing anything you may regret later, can you please share some information about how you get yourself in this situation, how many reviews a day you can do, what percentage you get right and other suitable information. Fellow learners may give you some alternative solutions.
When you finished a review session (you can use the wrap-up function to end a session early), go and switch on vacation mode right away. When you ready to do the next batch, switch off vacation mode and do your next batch, once done, switch it on again. Rinse and repeat. Probably will still take a while.
I got stuck at level 22 as well. I have been at that level for few months now. Just do 0-5 lessons per day from now on, and do reviews as you see fit. It will eventually go down.
I would never recommend resetting to lower level, that just postpones the problem to later date. As long as you do more reviews than lessons, you should be fine. It just takes time.
