Every now and then when I look at my wkstats, I realize many days of daily work learning all the kanjis really takes and start thinking: Do I really want to spend next 700 days learning an obscure writing system?
Then I just try to actively forget that and replace it with thought: You study kanji every day and some day life will be better. You are doing this because you want to learn Japanese, there is no easy way out without abandonin Japanese and you don’t want that.
