On god where are Japanese subtitles for Doraemon (1979)?

Japanese Language Listening

So I don’t really know if this is the right category, but I’m desperate.

Any Chinese, Korean, Hongkonger, Thai, Fillipino etc. will remember watching Doraemon Oyama Edition as a kid. Funny as hell and now I want to find Japanese-language subs for it so I can make the jump from JLPT N4 to N3 in regards to listening. Can’t seem to find any good ones online, so uh, yall have some good ideas?

Can’t promise you this source has every episode or that they are properly timed to the video, but this website is generally good for finding Japanese subtitles.

In general, finding japanese subtitles outside of japan is quite difficult. i think (although i don’t know this to be true) this is a standard part of the export agreement / licensing with part of the intent being to prevent e.g. Crunchyroll from competing in Japan against the original distributor.

Sadly, we found we had to buy a Japanese DVD player and bulk DVDs for kids shows for good subtitles for our kid. The DVDs are often pretty cheap ($5) at least :frowning:
