This is great. Do you guys keep track of common user mistakes or something? I have mostly definitely typed “every” for 各, “plan” for 策 and “personal stamp” for 判子

There is this thread for instance: Oh, Come On! Closest Wrong Answers thread

There is also a sister thread for closest correct answers from which I think the blocklist words come  .

We can see which items are commonly answered incorrectly but not the actual answers that were entered! Most of the ideas for changes come from suggestions on the forum, by email, or on chat, and from us rummaging around in and using WaniKani

Thank you! Fixed!

So now I gotta ask, what are the top missed items? And any thoughts on why they are missed the most?

The last time we generated a report, the top items were transitivity pairs and single-kanji vocabulary with different meanings and/or readings from the matching kanji. We thought that was down to factors like interference, insufficient meaning explanations, and ambiguous English meanings. So we made some changes, like adding the “warning” shake, separating the transitivity pairs, updating meanings and explanations… and hopefully the next report will show fewer errors for those items! :crossed_fingers:t2:
