Is there a thread / schedule yet for Look Back?
Not yet. It’s 142 pages, it doesn’t divide neatly into formal chapters but I can glance through it again and see what I think is doable, from memory it has about 3 distinct ‘acts’

Hmmm. I confess I don’t remember what the difficulty level is likely to be like for beginners. Looking at this, I think we could split the first two weeks in two (halving the page count for reading) relatively easily and assess from there?
I think it’s probably best to split weeks 1, 2 and 5 in half from that schedule

For reference, the word count of ルックバック is on par with the first volume of ちいさな森のオオカミちゃん (an easier pick from the ABBC), with just a slightly higher text density.
I agree with the recommendation on splitting it out longer, but if grammar isn’t tricky, this should be one of our easier reads.

you are free to actively post to comment what you think of the book, how’s the reading going and ask questions, but it’s also fine to just read along without saying anything!

Enjoying ルックバック a good deal it’s got me thinking about nominating another 藤本 manga - I know he’s got manga short story collections and also the さよなら絵梨 one shot - does anyone know if these are generally sfw content?

さよなら絵梨 has been nominated here before, but I think it was dropped out of disinterest. Maybe it would be worth nominating it again, interest might have changed because we got a lot of new members now (personally, I didn’t vote for it, because I’d already read it).
