I almost always put a space after typing out the reading out of habit, but I just noticed today that it has stopped letting me do so. This occurs even when I disable all of my scripts. The screen just shakes and makes me remove the trailing space in order to submit the answer.
Anyone else having this issue?
@viet wrote this in another thread:
We updated our javascript. The update changed how we reject invalid inputs (when to “shake”). This probably broke Double Check.
Before:
Reading answers: any ASCII detection will shake
After:
Reading answers: any character not cjk punctuation, hiragana, katakana, zenkaku present will shake
I don’t if they want to add space-stripping, but I’ll probably add it to Double Check.

Thanks, you’re the best!
I’m not sure why they would be opposed to trailing or leading spaces, though.
Probably because they’re ASCII characters, rather than specifically because they’re spaces.
I know, but rfindley said he would add space stripping if they didn’t. I was saying thanks, but they probably will, if that makes sense.
