Not All Items Unlocked in WK are Available in KW

I have 400 items above apprentice in WK, but my KW only has about 200 items available. Why are all these items not available in KW?

from my limited use of it, kaniwani only does vocab, of which you have 204 above apprentice
what’s interesting is that it shows 212

KameSame has the option to select (sync) vocab, kanji, or both.
