Reason(s) for nominating: What child Japanese learner in the year 2025 doesn’t want to read a novelization of a 40 year old movie with nostalgia for the 1950s? I can’t think of one! More practically, this is a story that I imagine quite a few readers would be familiar with, making it an easier book to get into for someone’s first few novels. And c’mon, anime Marty and Doc Brown illustrations inside? This book sells itself!
