New WaniKani visualizer!

Hey all! long time lurker here.

I have made (yet another) WaniKani progress visualizer, you can access it here: https://visualizewanikani.xyz/ (the domain was 2 bucks, dont judge:) )

:warning: This is a third-party app and is not created by the WaniKani team. By using this, you understand that it can stop working at any time or be discontinued indefinitely.

Now, bear with me. I have long wanted a place, where i can combine all of the different metrics im interested in. Specifically current progress, historical progress, fluency and projected progress. I have used wkstats.com for fluency, but then i have lacked projected progress. Then i have used https://observablehq.com/@indutny/wanikani-estimator for projecting levels.

While all of these are genuenly useful, i have lacked a central hub for my stats, so i have created a visualizer with all of these features present and more, and i think the llm sums the features up best:

Four views, all driven by your WaniKani API data:

  • Dashboard β€” live stats (current level, burned items, active reviews), SRS stage distribution charts, progress-by-level chart, progress-over-time timeline, and a searchable Kanji & Vocabulary grid (filter by level, type, SRS stage).

  • Fluency β€” JLPT N5–N1 kanji/vocab coverage as radar and bar charts, plus a frequency-weighted overall fluency score against the Core 6K word list. Shows how much real Japanese text you can read at your current WK level.

  • Calculator β€” SRS review simulator. Set items/day, accuracy %, and max apprentice load, then it projects your level-up timeline to JLPT milestones (N5 through N1) with an area chart of daily review load. Deterministic hash-based accuracy per item, not random.

  • History β€” review accuracy over time (meaning + reading), level timeline, cumulative items learned, time-per-level stats (average, median, projected days to 60), and historical fluency progression. Adjustable time horizon
    (7d/30d/90d/all).

Some pictures of the dashboards, but of course feel free to view them yourself.

(dont mind the large breaks. Coincidentally they overlap with exams or my concussion )

Disclaimer:

This is a for fun project, and i do not make any money from it, so depending on how popular (or unpopular) ill decide on whether to keep hosting it or not, since it costs a few dollars to host.

I am very open to constructive criticism/feedback, so please be my guest.
