New login timeout

My point is you don’t need to force logout if you use a different way to measure whether a user is active or not (rather than their logged in state).

Maybe I’ll put a different feature request instead: I do my lessons/reviews everyday on my laptop but I do look at Wanikani website on the phone fairly frequently. I kept getting logged out of my phone even though I did reviews on my laptop. I’m assuming you’re using the fact that I started review on desktop to extend my desktop login timer, can you somehow make it that this apply to my phone and any other places I log in as well?

How about we just login forever like on literally all normal websites in 2024.

+1 for this if possible. I do wk regularly on 3 separate devices (phone, laptop, ipad) and I’m having to do at least a login a week it feels like. It really feels like a disruptive flow and discourages causal pick ups of the site (community for example)

@JenK I’m going to assume this was an oversight, but I went to change my password and didn’t have access until I did the “wake up” thing since my account was considered “inactive”, whatever that means. I understand blocking the app settings if my account is in a state where I can’t do lessons and reviews anyway, but we should always have access to changing our password, deleting our credit card on file, and other security settings.
