Hi, I was watching " The Perfect Insider" and in episode 8 at 23:50 there’s a sign on a door:
The first part is easy to understand: セールス – sales. But what about the next word? I though that I found a similar kanji on jisho.org 「撕」 but that looks wrong.
My guess is that the sign says something along the lines of “no solicitations”.
It says 「セールスお断（ことわ）り」and you’re right, it means “no solicitations.”
Perhaps お断わり? welp
「お断わり」 makes sense. Thanks!
