According to https://hinative.com/questions/21860624, 狂いまくりseems to be “completely messed up” or “repeatedly messed up”. I think the で is so or therefore.
So maybe “The schedule is so messed up that even Take-chan is on the verge of tears.”
The answer is in beginning of Chapter 30: he sees her as a little sister and has no romantic interest in her at all. Even when Ren suggests that he just takes one for the team and have sex with her or marries her just to keep her happy, he is disgusted at the idea (I am also a bit disgusted at Ren for suggesting that)
Thanks, the link is perfect! Now I can see where it’s coming from (at least if I can trust those Internet strangers)
Chapter 31
WHEW. This was a tough chapter emotionally.
In this chapter it feels like Nana is really starting to come apart at the seams. Though it was clear how much Hachi’s pregnancy/engagement to Takumi effected her initially, here she is really spiraling, but unable to fully express why.
The scene of her going to Apt. 707 to find it empty is so, so heartbreaking.
I remember when I first read this as a teenager, I resented that Nobu didn’t fight harder for Hachi. Reading it as an adult, I can see the nuance of his heartbreak and resignation more. And there’s also the fact that he has to be strong for Nana while she falls apart.
Aughhh it hurts so good!
Chapter 31
Yeah, in a way I admire him even more for that.
I also didn’t remember one of the things that was said in a previous chapter (so not sure if I didn’t understand it back then or forgot), but it’s the fact that Hachi seems to prioritize: baby > BLAST / Nana > Nobu.
And it’s just tragic that she and Nana didn’t get to talk, it seems that they both think that the other one is mad at them and wait for them to make contact.
Also this chapter is even more though because Hachi is never shown, (she seems to be having a fun time enough cocooning for baby), instead we only see heartbroken people, Nobu, Nana, Layla, Shin, Yasu, did I forget anyone? x)

Chapter 32 cover
Chose not to post the full art for chapter 32, because we hate Takumi so let’s boycott him it’s kind of a spoiler I guess, if someone lurking just comes across the thread…
Chapter 32
I really liked this chapter.
A LOT of very funny and silly faces!
It hurt a bit that Hachi and Takumi were so cute together. Hurt a lot too, when Shin rang and remembered the day of the fireworks. Also it seems like it only clicked for him now that Hachi was with Takumi?? No one told him anything before, they just said “don’t talk about Hachi anymore”?!?!
Very wholesome to see him go rescue Layla when he understands how bad she must be feeling (if we still blissfully ignore how old he is). The ナガシ situation was funny as well haha, I wonder how they translated that.
Also, crazy to think that Nana and Hachi only had 6 months together, the panel with the memories together hurt a bit, thinking that now it looks like they are so far away from each other! Hope they’ll have more moments together!! (or else I’ll have to reread it all again but for the next reread I will stop at the end of volume 7
)
Finishing up Chapter 31, and I have a question:
Page 148
あいつは スキャンダルも ハクの内位にしか 思ってねえよ!
The ハクの内位に part is baffling me. I have:
As for that guy (Ren), even scandal thinks nothing but (???).
The English version I have has “For Ren, scandal only increases his reputation!”, but I don’t see how to get that from the Japanese.
In second part:
狙われてる なんて一言も 言わずに さんざん人の事 呼びつけやがって
Overall, the meaning seems to be “Without saying anything about being targeted, he has the nerve to call me over” (which more or less matches the English), but that just skips the さんざん人の事 part. I found this but I’m not sure I’m understanding the Japanese. Is it “again and again” here?
Ah I remember that this one gave me trouble too.
p.148
あいつはスキャンダルもハクの内位にしか思ってねえよ!
So first I can see that the sentence says:
→ As for that guy, he doesn’t think about scandals as anything other than ハクの内位に
Then I would say 位に is just くらいに, to the extent of.
That leaves us with “ハクの内”. If ハク is 箔 (prestige), so that would mean “part of this prestige” and then it means, “It’s to the point that he only thinks as scandals as part of his prestige.”, so the English translation is not too far off.
For the second part, you’re right, they didn’t translate さんざん. It emphasizes that he keeps doing it, so annoying!
chapter 32
Whew… I made it. I’ve been reading a chapter a day for the last few days, and guys, as much as at first I was like, ew Naoki chapter, I don’t think I can take all this heartbreak as soon as next week ![]()
I’m happy we’ve gotten to an unsteady but moment of calm for everyone. I don’t at all like the calm for anyone in the story, but at least no one is actively sobbing anymore.. so progress ![]()
This has long been my “new favorite yuri”, but also my new favorite BL? ![]()
Nobu x Shin, would definitely read
Thanks!
p.148
There was a whole page of はくs and I missed the “prestige” meaning.
Looking more closely, they actually do have “keeps calling me over” in the English version, so that matches, too.

Naoki
Yasu with hair!!! I repeat, Yasu with hair!!
I enjoyed this well enough, but it turned out to be way more about everyone else than it did Naoki. Poor Naoki, can’t even be the main character in his own story ![]()
Naoki
Hehe I was just copying Ai Yazawa-sensei who seemed to have had a lot of fun in the first place.
She wrote it NAOKI ― ナオキ ― on the chapter name (reference to NANA ― ナナ ―), and compare the first page with the first page of each Nana:
Yasu with hair!!! I repeat, Yasu with hair!!
YEAH! Haha that was great, to see them all super young.
I enjoyed this well enough, but it turned out to be way more about everyone else than it did Naoki. Poor Naoki, can’t even be the main character in his own story
I was thinking that too!
But a pleasant surprise I thought. Finally I know all the backstory much better. I also feel like Yazawa-sensei is trying to help us understand (and forgive?) why Takumi is so violent, with his mom being sick at home and eventually dying. Still not forgiving him, but pretty interesting.
I also wonder how Reira’s future is going to look like, will she get a happy ending with Shin? Or will her and Yasu every come back together? Will she manage to fall out of love with Takumi after so many years? She has it pretty tough…
