Because of this ^ I learned a new word or meaning for 息子
I wonder why it is not included in the alternative meanings

瞼(まぶた)eyelid
I learned it from the song 春よ、来い(はるよ、こい)I think it’s a funny-looking kanji, as the left is the radical for eye 目 and the right side looks like a face.

人形 (doll), I learnt it from the anime ヴァイオレットエヴァーガーデン.
カンスト - short for カウンターストップ (和製英語) - maximum value such as 99 or 255. spotted on twitter.
したがって, used to mean “therefore”, “accordingly”, or “consequently” when referencing a previous statement.
As I near the end of Tobira, it’s feeling like a lot of grammar points are simply just learning vocabulary. 
朝飯前 - Literally means before breakfast but is the equivalent of “piece of cake”. I like this one so much I want to use it in English.
娑婆しゃば the free world, used when you are released from prison.
バーコード人 - Which means Barcode Man to reference to a person with a ridiculous combover. Imagine scanning one!
ドンマイ
和製英語 coming from “Don’t mind” and means something like “Don’t worry about it.” Apparently it’s used commonly in sports and games to console someone who made a mistake (I came across it while playing an online game).
