Minna no nihongo excercises help?

Hey!

So I bought the minna no nihongo books for when I start to work on grammar and I’m just flicking through them now to get an idea of how to use them once I start but the exercises are confusing me. More specifically the section A ones are confusing me as there are no answers or examples to show you what your supposed to do. Am I supposed to pick the word from each box that best fits? Copy out the sentence structure with the other words? And what about if there’s more than one box? Am I supposed to make a conversation out of them? Using the same structure?

I’m trying to teach myself while I’m working on this Japanese island because there aren’t any classes or teachers here so any help would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance :+1:

I’m going to move this to the Japanese Grammar section since it’s not about WaniKani.

Thanks and sorry for posting in the wrong place

Don’t worry about it! I haven’t used this book so I can’t help you, but I’m sure someone will come along who can.

Thanks anyway  It’s probably something really simple that I’m just being clueless about but I’m sure someone will be able to help :+1:

Could you post a picture of the exercises you are talking about? That way, even people who don’t have the book can help you

Do you mean the Japanese version of Minna no Nihongo page 8? If yes: That’s renshuu A (Practice A). You can follow the example while practising (talking).

1 Watashi wa Maiku Miraa desu.
Watashi wa Kaishain desu.
Wansan wa chuugokujin desu.
Wansan wa isha desu.

2 Watashi wa kaaru shumitto ja arimasen.
Watashi wa kyoushi ja arimasen.
Iisan wa Amerikajin ja arimasen.
Iisan wa gakusei ja arimasen.

And so on.

Yes that’s the one! Ah okay so I don’t actually have to do anything with it it’s just speaking practice with the sentence structures. That makes sense. And I assume it’s the same for the renshuu A in the other lessons too?

Thanks for the help!

Yes.

You’re welcome!
