Main page level progress has wrong denominator

The level progress for level 40 (and I’m pretty sure this has happened several times in other levels as well, as I have been wondering why I didn’t get to the next level when the level progress is >90%) has wrong denominator. Here it says I’ve guru’d 31/33 kanji, but level 40 actually has 36 kanji…

That 33 is the 90% needed to level up. The progress bar is telling you how far you have left until you level up, not until you’ve completed all the kanji.

It has, in fact, happened in every other level. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah if you count the kanji on the level, it’s indeed 36. The ‘33’ in ‘31 of 33’ is already the 90% goal. You level-up when the bar is full.

(weird style choice, I know. Would have been more clear to count them all but have a “finish line” at 90%)

I’ve been working on this, if you like it better:

Haha, that’s a very interesting choice of finish line instead. At least it now makes sense. I’ve been wondering why the number was so off ever since I started paying attention (not too long ago fortunately).
